97. Pandemic Partnership: Sam & Stacey

In this 10 part series we will have conversations with couples and individuals who continue to navigate the Pandemic either in partnership or without partnership and to dive deeper into how relationships are handling this ongoing pandemic as we enter the second full year.

Stacey is an artist, illustrator and muralist based in Los Angeles and Sam is a Director and Filmmaker. They live in Glendale with their two cats Julius and Doug. During the Pandemic, the couple got engaged and they have been navigating planning their wedding during the pandemic. Listen in as the couple recounts their proposal story, goes over wedding plans, discusses how the algorithm of social media effects artists and talks about how the weather in Southern California afforded them some flexibility and their deck became the hottest spot in LA to grab a drink.

These days Marisol and Adam are raising a toddler, navigating the surrogate process to add to their family, and starting the egg retrieval/IVF process again after a miscarriage.
