140. Let's do it again! trying for a second baby

You hit a moment in parenting when you kiddo is finally sleeping through the night. He can feed himself, wont drown in the tub, and can start to communicate his needs. It feels like you have unlocked a new level of parenthood... Then it hits, Baby Fever! Marisol and Adam describe a recent peaceful evening where it felt like the times before a baby and how they may (or may not) be ready to start all over again with a newborn. The couple discuss how they anticipate this time around being different and ways they are preparing themselves for this next step in the surrogacy and fertility process to start and then go very quickly.

That journey lead them to IVF, a tremulous pregnancy, post partum depression and an amazing life altering miracle kid, Neo (all while recording the ups & downs). These days Marisol and Adam are raising a toddler, navigating the surrogate process to add to their family, and starting the egg retrieval/IVF process again after a miscarriage.
